Sometimes it feels too much like:

“You can’t speak on Addiction unless you’re sober.
You can’t speak on Mental Illness unless you’re Neuro”typical”.
You can’t speak on colonization unless you’re connection to your culture is intact.
You can’t speak on homelessness unless you’re housed.
You can’t speak on crimes unless you’ve never committed one.
You can’t speak on victim impact unless you’re clear-headed.

When this self-negating, fallacy-perpetuating formula goes on unchecked throughout all major issues we will never advance beyond the confines of these constructs, we will only waste time doing just enough to say we tried(and failed, and therefore there’s nothing left for us to do). If we don’t evolve our cognition beyond what is marketed to us, we’ll get what we have now – idiocracy, futility, segregation, assimilation, loss of life, love and liberty.

I dunno, I just, I see a much better world for us and our descendants than settling for gestures vaguely this.
