Recorded history of the US/Can-American Music Industry in relation to considerations of slavery delegalization as a matter of market manipulation rather than abolition presents an alternate rational for stereotypes of musician characteristics. Broken relationships, Isolation, Addiction, mental illness, complex difficult egos, self-objectification, voluntary-exploitation, greed and obsession with intellectual property and credit, communal degradation, competition, pedestals of desensitizing and disconnecting privilege, premature deaths with only either managers or easily manipulated descendants left to inherit their rights and other assets, including their story, have all become such common associations that one would be prone to believe that musicians on average “just are” that way. But when we look closer at dominating industry standards, we can see ample evidence that these outcomes have been created by an industry that makes products of these people, and has done so for such force for so long that nearly all participants and consumers elect to uphold these standards themselves, believing that it’s “just” how things are done, because it’s the only thing they’ve been allowed to see succeed under the monopolizing models.

Music is widely understood to be the most universal spiritual conduit. Beings, matter, powers and planes of any manner of difference all connect and respond without any necessary effort or intent under the shared energetic influence of transformative vibrations which attunes us to the source, the medium, and all else which it touches. By streamlining our relationship with this “Voice of God” in a consumable which is inseparable from human suffering and exploitation, not only are the listeners and creators degraded & demoralized, activated in downward mobilization, but so to is our connection to the ineffable spiritual realm which many musicians share experiences of being conduits of. The industry urging credit be due to more accessible and controllable pockets, people who once saw themselves as divine instruments are coerced into playing God, and become demons, so to speak, showing the audience a farcical branding which misinforms the spiritual-scientific divine powers that move through all that is. From something sacred into something saleable….
